Try it as a customer

Try it: Desert Bloom Painting is a made-up demo business with example prices. Your page uses your own prices. Pick your answers and see what your customers would see.

For example, walls in 2 medium rooms and 1 large room come to $1,425, and the exterior of a 1-story, 1,800 sq ft home comes to $4,950. Example prices only.

Requests sent here go to the made-up business, not to a real company. Open the demo full screen

Without Enqovo vs with Enqovo

Without Enqovo

  • A customer messages: “How much to paint three bedrooms?”
  • You drive out or call back to ask about sizes, ceilings, trim and wall condition.
  • You work out the price at night and type it up.
  • You ask for a deposit separately, or not at all.

With Enqovo

  • The customer picks rooms or square feet, coats, wall condition and extras, and sees your price.
  • Pre-1978 homes, heavy repair and tall exteriors come to you to price. Nothing is guessed.
  • You tap Approve, Edit or Decline. The quote is emailed for you.
  • Your deposit and pay link go with it.

You set every price

What customers pick

  • Interior or exterior
  • Interior by room (how many small, medium and large rooms) or by square feet
  • Exterior square feet and stories
  • Ceilings, trim and baseboards, and doors
  • 1, 2 or 3 coats
  • Wall condition: good, some patching or heavy repair
  • A big color change
  • Year built: 1978 or later, before 1978, or not sure

What you set

  • A price per small, medium and large room, or per interior square foot
  • Ceilings and trim per room or per square foot, and doors each
  • Exterior per square foot for 1-story and 2-story homes
  • One-coat and three-coat multipliers
  • Prep and color-change surcharges (%)
  • Your minimum job price, and the largest job that gets an automatic price
  • Any price can be left blank: “I price these myself”

Starter example prices

Small room$300
Medium room$425
Large room$575
Ceiling$125 per room
Trim$95 per room
Door$65
Exterior, 1 story$2.75 per sq ft
Exterior, 2 stories$3.50 per sq ft
Minimum job$450

Starter example prices are filled in for you to change. Until you save your own prices, your calculator shows “We’ll confirm your price” and still sends you the request.

Sent to you to price

The customer sees “We’ll confirm your price” and you get a “Needs your price” request when:

  • The home was built before 1978, or the customer isn’t sure (lead-safe check)
  • The walls need heavy repair
  • The exterior is 3 stories or more
  • Square feet are missing
  • The job needs a price you left blank

After the customer sends it

Approve and get paid

  • The request card shows the customer’s answers, the price lines and the rules used.
  • You tap Approve, Edit or Decline. Nothing goes to the customer until you approve.
  • The quote email carries the price, the deposit and your own pay link (Stripe, Square, PayPal, Venmo or Cash App).
  • Reminder emails tell you when a request is waiting on you.
  • Mark the deposit paid when it comes in.

Your prices, without mistakes

  • Mistake checks in plain English: every range, your minimum against your automatic limit, and at least one interior or exterior price.
  • Every price is double-checked before it reaches you, including your minimum.
  • Preview your prices on example jobs before you save.
  • Every save is a new version. Undo, or restore any of your last 10 versions.
  • Upload the price list you already have (CSV, Excel, PDF or a photo). Room, ceiling, trim, door, exterior and minimum rows land in the right place, and nothing is used until you publish.

What it doesn’t price for you

  • Cabinets, decks, fences, wallpaper removal, specialty finishes, and per-wall or per-color pricing. These come to you.
  • Paint and materials aren’t priced separately: they’re part of your rates.
  • Photos aren’t used to price the job.
  • Homes built before 1978 are never priced automatically.

Customer emails become requests

Quote requests by email: Starter and up. Every account gets its own intake address, set up when you sign up. Forward customer emails to it, or give it to customers. Each email becomes a request in your dashboard with the customer’s name, email, phone and message, not yours. From the message it picks up rooms, square feet, interior or exterior, and the year built. Nothing is sent to the customer until you approve it.

Add the addresses you forward from: your sign-in email plus up to 5 more. There are forwarding guides for Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo and iCloud. A new address takes about 2 minutes to switch on. Photos and PDFs attached to an email are listed on the request, not read.

Questions from painting owners

Do I set the prices?

Yes. You set room prices or a price per square foot, ceilings, trim, doors, exterior rates, coat multipliers, prep and color-change surcharges and your minimum job price. Nothing goes to a customer until you approve it.

What about homes built before 1978?

They always come to you, and so do homes where the customer isn’t sure of the year, so you can do your lead-safe check and price the job yourself.

Do you price cabinets, decks or fences?

No. Cabinets, decks, fences, wallpaper removal and specialty finishes come to you to price.

Is paint included?

Paint and materials aren’t priced separately. Build them into your rates.

What does it cost?

Free is $0 for up to 20 instant quotes a month. Starter is $29/mo, Pro $59/mo and Team $99/mo (or 2 months free on annual). No setup fee, and you can try Pro free for 14 days with no card.
